A Magical, Musical Christmas
Christmas is a magical and musical time of year. It truly 'tis the season to be jolly; when we deck the halls with silver bells and jingle bells and let our children loose with the tinsel to create the happiest Christmas tree - a joy to the world to look at.
Whether you're driving home this Christmas, or walking in the air filled with snow from our recent white Christmas, winter wonderland weather, you have to agree, it's the most wonderful time of the year. Personally I wish it could be Christmas every day, with Rudolf the red-nosed reindeer around to offer sleigh rides with little Saint Nick to all the little drummer boys so nobody is lonely this Christmas; not even the little boy that Santa Claus forgot last Christmas - it was Mary's boy child and she wasn't best pleased.
But some words of advice. If you're away in a manger over the festive period don't forget to cancel the papers and stop the cavalry. And if you're cuddling up together at home for Christmas, go easy on the mistletoe and wine on Saviour's day otherwise, when a child is born nine months later people might think it's a santa baby.
As for me, my wife asked me what present I'd like and I said, 'All I want for Christmas is you, Darling.' Cheesy I know, but I don't want to be spending the twelve days of Christmas with Frosty the snowman because, baby, it's cold outside.
So all I can say is, I wish you a happy holiday and a merry Christmas everybody, and I look forward to a happy new year for us all!
